Late SHEIKH ADAM ABDULAHI EL-ILORY, the founder of this Institute of Arabic and Islamic Training Center, Agege , Nigeria, was born of a Nigerian father, a native of Ilorin ( FROM OMODA DISTRICT, AGBOGUNMATI COMPOUND ), Nigeria. His mother was a native of PONDE, Wasa province also princess of Ponde.
His father was an Islamic scholar, an Islamic Scholar , an imam of Ponde town in Wasa province ,he was anomadic preacher which took him to places like Ponde (Rep. of Benin ) Ibadan ,Abeokuta, Ede, Oshogbo allin Nigeria and other part of Yoruba Land. Republic of Benin in the year 1917 in Wasa, Dahomey now Republic of Benin.
A great International Islamic Scholar, educationist,admiistrator ,teacher, a leader and a man with a great knowledge of the Quran and Arabic Language.
Untill his death in 1992, had been able to achieve so much and contributed his quots to the development and propagation of Islamic study through his uncountable lectures both Nationally and Internationally.
A recipient of so many National and International awards amongst which are
* Egypt Nationmal award for Art and Science
* Mauritania National Award and lots more
This Training Center which is now a legacy and a citadel of knowledge is part of his achievement while on earth
